Netherlands, in the 50s a Bishop ordered: "Castrate those abused boys"

According to the historian Mart van Lieburg, in the 50s a Dutch Bishop ordered the castration of underage boys to heal them from their homosexual behaviour, but also if they reported abuses suffered from ecclesiasticals. According to another historian, Marnix Koolhaas, seven pastors ordered this.
At the origin of the study, a service on the newspaper Nrc Handelsblad of last 20th March about the life of Henk Heithuis that in 1956, underage, was punished with castration because he reported to the police he suffered sexual abuses from a religious man.
